THE ʻUHANE PROJECT
Turning faith into aloha in action.
ʻUhane gives the first tenth of all revenue to the ʻUhane Project. We publish where it goes.
The first giving cycle opens with Kinohi, the First Drop. The first tenth of all revenue is set aside before anything else, and each quarter we publish what came in, where it went, and what it did.
We begin with our keiki.
The First Drop gives fully to keiki: Oʻahu youth mentorship. Before a garment is anything else, it is care. We walk with our keiki, and we help ready them for the road ahead.
What we put on matters. We dress for the walk: truth, righteousness, readiness, faith. The same intention shapes every garment, and how we raise up our keiki.

Their hope for every student: “a place to call home and a reason to keep going.”
Youth For Christ Hawaii was formed in 1945 by veterans coming home from the Second World War, one of the first Youth For Christ chapters in the country. Eight decades on, the heart of the work has not changed: go where young people already are, and stay.
Through Campus Life, YFC staff and interns gather students every week on Oʻahu’s public middle and high school campuses, to reach, in their own words, “the lonely, the rejected, the desperate,” and to walk with each one toward hope.

Campus Life
Weekly clubs on public middle and high school campuses across Oʻahu. As YFC puts it, we meet young people in real life
, on their own ground.
Staff and interns
YFC sends staff and interns onto campus to proclaim Jesus and to make disciples. The ministry is relationship: the same faces, showing up week after week.
Hope that widens
Their vision reaches past one student to the whole circle around them: transformation of people, schools, and communities

Three held as one.
Every decision at ʻUhane passes through Lōkahi: Ke Akua, ʻāina, kānaka. Our first partner also holds all three as one.
Their mission says it plainly: hope, purpose, and faith for the young people of Hawaiʻi. ʻUhane takes its name from Galatia 5:25, the call to walk in the Spirit, and YFC Hawaii has walked that way on Oʻahu since 1945.
YFC Hawaii was not flown in. It was formed here, by veterans coming home, and it has served the young people of this island ever since, on the campuses where our keiki already are.
Their work is presence: adults who keep showing up until a student has a place to call home. That is what we mean by aloha in action, carried person to person.
Kinohi means beginning.
Our first drop is our beginning, and we wanted it to stand with people who have spent eight decades at the beginnings of young lives. We are honored that Youth For Christ Hawaii is ʻUhane Project 1.
From October 9, 2026 through December 31, 2027, ʻUhane Project LLC gives Youth For Christ Hawaii 10% of the sale price of each Ka ʻUhane Tee and each pair of Ao & Pō Shorts sold.
Keiki is where we begin. As each cycle gives, the circle widens.
